WhereIsKO Ep.012 - Just Do It

I wear these pairs to remember that the determination to keep going is what got me here.
I wear these pairs to remember the days I never envisioned making it to where I began to unlock a mindset that kept me there.

I wear these pairs for the slogan, that carried me into battle with a battalion of actions against my internal naysayers to dethrone them.

I wear these pairs because action however big or small is the catalyst for change.
I wear these pairs because saying three words kickstarts a dopamine release which fuels the rewiring of neurological pathways in the brain.

Three words helped me to keep it simple.
I wear these pairs because these three words became my fundamental.
Action begets action becoming sustained execution, my confidence grew as a result of just doing.

When I find myself stuck in the middle of nowhere, drowning in the depths of anxiety and despair, not really knowing how I had got there, deciding to just do it through the art of elocution dispels my confusion.
Thats why I wear these pairs.
Those three words have given me so much clarity, reflection, and introspection, even helping me map out a direction.

I don’t wear these pairs for head turns, conversations or stares, I wear these because there’s something existential about wearing the gear.
There’s no premeditation or preparation, there’s a philosophy of being a perpetual doer when you assume the call to action through your choice of what to wear.

I can own a lot of alternative pairs but none carry the dogmatic energy to fuel and keep the passion lit.
Staying grounded whilst walking on air, connected to a long arduous journey where I scaled obstacles even during times I never thought I couldn’t do anything, I laced up and assumed the virtue through the mantra of ‘Just Do It’.

Three words: adverb, verb, pronoun.
Just. Do. It.

I wear these pairs because they are more than iconic silhouettes, colourways, and air.
I wear these pairs because the call to action got me where I need to be on the journey to becoming me.
